Each flute has small serrations to tear up the chips as the bit cuts through the project. Has a feed rate in between that of a roughing bit and a standard spiral bit. The downcut spiral design provides the best top surface edges, ejecting chips away from the router when routing through material. Also decreases the tendency to lift thin/small work pieces during CNC routing.
