Whiteside Machine 1/2" Hex Shank x 7/16" Hex Adapter Quick Change Chuck is designed for the production environment to allow a quick and easy switch from one tool size to the next. The 7/16" hex design is larger and stronger than most. This design allows the use of larger drill bits and hole saws with our Quick Change Chucks (our hex shank tooling will also work great in standard three-jaw chucks). The chucks are provided with this 1/2" hex shank for most applications or with a 3/8" hex shank (sold separately - see below) for use in drills with only a 3/8" capacity.

The Quick Change 1/4" Hex Adapter is sold separately (see below) so that any 1/4" hex shank bits or drivers can also be used in the main chuck. This system really makes changing tools a snap.
