Thin kerf blades are designed for miter smooth cuts—less drag on bearings and brake and reduces stock loss on expensive woods and veneer plywoods. Not recommended to cut stock over 3/4″ without the use of a stabilizer. TC grind can also be used for cutting thin Plexiglas®, masonite, and plastics.
